“I thought the real is back, when I first heard them. That was my first impression. It’s real raps and the project was well mastered if I remember well- it was music with purpose and music with a real message, that’s the one thing that stood out for me when I listened to the project,” says Back To the City founder Osmic Menoe.

LDF began their epic journey when they rose above the standard hip-hop format to produce a fresh, modern and exciting gospel propelled sound aptly dubbed CHANGE MUSIC +, which is defined as "music with an eternal effect on the listener".
They later established their own record label called Eternal Effect Productions, under which all their albums were released. In February 2010 LDF was awarded ""Best Group of the Year" in the MTN Hype Music Awards, following their Debut Album "Official Streets".
Their accolades include a SAMA nomination for best rap album in 2012 and a Crown Gospel Music Award int he same year.
